Church Street Ministries is a non-profit, ecumenical outreach mission:
The ministries serve the youth, homeless, transients, battered women, and those in need of emergency assistance and counseling. The ministries also provide a variety of used furniture, household goods, and more for those who need emergency assistance.
The ministries also train volunteers and involve the community in outreach ministries. They provide counseling and help to those who are chemically dependent, need social skills, mentoring, jobs, advocacy for youth in court situations, education, and other services.
Donated goods are sold at the Second Mile Thrift Shop and Second Mile West Furniture Store, located in Berea. Eighty percent of the proceeds goes toward funding the outreach mission.
